Will this make me "soft"?
No. It’s the opposite. It takes a lot of strength to look at the things that are holding you back. Working on your mind is just like working on your body. It makes you a tougher competitor. The best athletes in the world use mental coaching to stay on top. This is just another way to level up.
What if I don't have a "big" problem?
You don’t need to be in a total crisis to come here. Maybe you just want to stop the nerves before a game. Maybe you want to learn how to focus better. We work with people who are doing “fine” but want to do great. You don’t have to wait until you’re “broken” to get better.
Will you tell my coach or my parents what we say?
No. This is your space. What we talk about is private. You can be honest here about the things you can’t say at practice or at the dinner table. If you want us to talk to your coach or parents to help them understand you better, we can do that, but only if you ask us to.
How is this different from just "talking to a friend"?
A friend might tell you to “just relax” or “don’t worry about it.” We know that doesn’t work. We give you real tools to change how your body and brain react under pressure. We don’t just listen; we help you build a plan to get your confidence back.
