About Benslyne
Helping people understand what keeps happening in their relationships
Do you feel stuck in your relationship? Are you and your partner having the same fights over and over? On the outside, you look like you are doing great. But at home, you feel far apart. My goal is to help you go from feeling lonely in your relationship to feeling seen and cared for. I want you to feel close, important, and happy together again.
I work with busy leaders and couples who do well in every other area but struggle at home. You have a big job, a busy house, and lots of responsibilities. Even though you love what you do and your partner, you’re tired of being the only one trying to keep things from falling apart.
Imagine it’s 11:30 PM. You’re lying in bed, not speaking to your partner after another fight. You wonder, “Will things ever get better?”. Your heart is beating fast because of something your partner said during the day. You’ve tried to be patient. You’ve tried being blunt. But nothing changes. You feel like a ghost in your own house. All you want is to be on the same team again.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Here’s how I can help: I’ll work with you and your partner to understand why you get stuck and show you how to talk so you both feel heard.
Working with me is a team effort. I don’t take sides. I don’t just give you a worksheet and send you home. I help you understand why you feel so far apart. Together, we find new ways to connect and remember why you fell in love.
Clients often tell me, “You put my feelings into words perfectly.” In our sessions, you will learn to really hear each other. You will learn to manage conflict with confidence. You’ll move from feeling stuck to feeling like a team.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and lead the team at Therapy with Empathy. I’ve spent years helping couples and individuals create meaningful connections in their relationships. This means I know how to help people just like you.
I use proven methods like the Gottman Method, EFT, CBT, DBT, and person-centred. No matter which method we use, my goal is to listen to your story and be sensitive to your unique experiences.
When I’m not working, you will find me at the gym. I love trying new workout trends, and right now I’m deep into Hyrox! I also love staying at home and relaxing in my “hermit cocoon.”
Although I’m not accepting new therapy clients, I continue to lead Therapy with Empathy as its founder and Clinical Director. If you’re looking for support, you can meet Caitlin and Jessica or book a free 20-minute phone consultation with an available therapist.
