Frequently Asked Questions


  • I take your confidentiality very seriously. The information you share remains between you and I, unless you have thoughts of harming yourself or others. I will be discussing this with you further during our first session.

  • Session fees for individual psychotherapy (virtually or in-person) is set at $150 (+HST) per 50-minutes.

  • A phone consultation gives you the opportunity to clarify your goals and needs and will help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you. Feel free to ask any additional questions you may have about the process of psychotherapy.

  • Free and convenient parking is available behind the building, both in the parking lot and on O’Donnell Court.

  • An employer-provided or private health insurance plan may cover part or all of your therapy fees. Please contact your insurance provider to determine if you are eligible for coverage.

    The Ontario Health Care Plan (OHIP) does not cover psychotherapy services.

  • Payments can be made by e-transfer or credit card. An invoice is provided at the end of each session.

  • Clients are required to provide a notice of at least 24-hours to reschedule or cancel their appointment. A late cancellation or a missed appointment will incur the session fee.
